Serving the community of North Fort Worth

Dr. Tod is happy to be serving the community of North Fort Worth. She is passionate about women’s healthcare and helping women through all seasons, from puberty to menopause. She believes in a patient centered approach and helping women feel empowered to make the best decisions for their reproductive health.  

She is originally from Calgary, Alberta Canada, but has set up some strong Texas roots. She lived in Houston with her family for a number of years. After high school, she attended Boston University where she received a Bachelor of Arts in Biology. She returned to Texas for medical school where she attended the University of North Texas Health Science Center in Fort Worth. She was fortunate to stay in Fort Worth for her obstetrics and gynecology residency, where she trained at John Peter Smith Hospital Network. 

Training at a county hospital provided Dr. Tod with a vast experience in various disease pathologies. She has strong surgical training and is skilled in minimally invasive surgical techniques, including laparoscopic and vaginal approaches. She is certified in Fundamentals of Laparoscopic Surgery and the Da Vinci Robotic Surgical System. She uses an evidence based medicine approach in the development of treatment plans. While in residency, Dr. Tod participated in several quality improvement and patient safety projects and initiatives. She completed a Patient Experience Mastery Program and believes in creating the most pleasant and safest experiences possible for her patients.
